About Us
Epilogy began with the observations of a pharmacist.
İrem Aydın, over the years she spent in the pharmacy, repeatedly saw the same cycle:
Products used for skin problems often showed short-term effects, but in the long run they could lead to sensitivity, loss of tolerance, and weakening of the skin barrier.
Especially;
• routines concentrated with active ingredients,
• layered use of multiple serums,
• aggressive care habits driven by the expectation of quick results
disrupted the skin’s natural balance, and the “care” process gradually became a burden.
With a pharmacist’s perspective, she evaluated this situation from a different angle:
The problem was often not the strength of the ingredients, but the nature of the relationship they formed with the skin.
This questioning formed the foundation of Epilogy.
Scientific Turning Point
The focus in formulation studies shifted:
Instead of stronger actives, smarter and more compatible actives.
At this point, fermented biotechnology came to the forefront.
Fermented ingredients;
transform into smaller structures with higher bioavailability,
are more easily tolerated by the skin,
make the effects of actives more balanced and sustainable.
By systematizing this approach,
Epilogy placed the balance of high performance + high tolerance at its core.
